Our Pastor

Rev. Eric L. David

The Rev. Eric L. David, the son whose father emigrated from Little Rock, AK., USA, is a native of Liberia, West Africa.

 

With over 30 years of experience in ministry, stretching across the Atlantic from Liberia, to Eastern Europe to North America, the organizer of Victory Baptist Fellowship, Inc., is endowed with the gift of leadership.

 

Rev. David has an unquenchable desire and dedication to preaching and teaching the word of God.

 

Rev. David combines practical applications with biblical truths to encourage integrity and self-discipline in Christian Service. He has earned a B.A. from the college of the Bible, American Baptist Seminary and a M. Div. from Vanderbilt Divinity School in Nashville, TN. Rev.

 

Rev. David held high and responsible decision-making positions involving coordination of Liberia Baptist Convention activities in Liberia. He was Interim President of Liberia Baptist Theological Seminary; Pastor of Mount Zion Baptist Church, Tellehoma, TN; Pastor Effort Baptist Church, Paynesville, Liberia; assistant to the pastor at Second New Saint Paul Baptist Church, NE, Washington, DC; and Executive Director Second New Saint Paul Baptist Church Day Care Center.

 

His professional experience embraces youth, young adults, adults and seniors in various aspects of life and living.

 

Rev. David has five children: Eursula David-Sherman, Erica Cole, Eureka Jackson, Eric David, Jr. and Dr. Semuteh David - six grandchildren, Gabriel, Cearrah, Sentiah, Adamah, Sadatuh and Nicholas.
