Calling all West Hyattsville children 4 – 12 to please join us on Saturday February 16th 10 to 12. God’s love is so wide you can’t get around it so high you can’t get over it. For God so loved the world that He give his only begotten son that whosoever believes in Him will be saved. John 3:16. We’ll make a huge heart to see who can get around or over it. We’ll make placemats for a mission project. We’ll also emphasized black history month through games. It’ll be a fun time!

OUTLINE
Overview: This course is designed to offer basic tools in assisting participants develop a proper understanding of the Bible. It will cover biblical history, authorships, scriptural authority, relevancy, and interpretation. After completing this study, participants should be able to do the following:
- Explain the difference between inspired and uninspired
- Define the word authority in relations to the Bible
- Identify the ways in which the meaning of Scripture is established through the divine origin and authority of the Holy Spirit
- Distinguish between the objective and subjective components of authority
- Identify the different categories of the Bible
- Explain how we got the Bible
