Christian Education offers classes throughout the church calendar year that are biblically based, real and relevant in meeting the needs of the congregants to mature in their relationship with God and with others. They assist the pastor with the overall educational and leadership development of the church through retreats, seminars, conferences and special events. The Christian Education Ministry includes: Weekly Bible Study, Sunday school, Vacation Bible School, Children’s Church, and other planned events to stimulate spiritual growth.


The Culinary Ministry supervises all food services for the church and guests. They manage the breakfast fellowship and maintain the kitchen.


This ministry plans and organizes activities to meet the needs of youth/children spiritually and socially, leading them to complete loyalty to Jesus Christ; and to encourage Christian service through discipleship, ministry and evangelism.


The mission of the Evangelism Ministry is to prepare WHBC members to become spirit-led witnesses of the gospel of salvation through Jesus Christ. The objective is to infuse evangelism into the life of the church – connecting all members of the congregation. The ministry provides training to equip members with biblical principles and practical tools for sharing their faith.


The Men’s Fellowship unites the men of the church to serve as positive role models in the community. They also have the responsibility to develop constructive interpersonal relationship to meet the spiritual needs of men and provide opportunities for personal and spiritual growth, and to encourage all men to actively participate in the ministries of the church.


The ushers are usually the first persons to make an impression on the members and guests. They create an atmosphere of hospitality and welcome. They are responsible to greet and seat members and guests during the regular Sunday worship services, and at special services; assist with other needs of worshipers; and receive the offering.


The Music Ministry is made up of the children’s and adult Choirs, the male chorus, and ensemble. It is led by the minister of music who directs the church in special and congregational music and worship.


This ministry provides the opportunity for young people ages 19-38 to meet and discuss issues relevant to their social and spiritual development. It seeks to lead young adults to complete loyalty and faith in Jesus Christ.


The nursery serves children ages 18 months to 3 years of age, providing them with activities and experiences based on Christian teachings during the 10:30 a.m. worship service.


The Women’s Ministry is committed to inspiring each other in the faith through fellowship, building a better relationship and connection with God through His Word, and supporting the spiritual growth and personal development of every woman.


The Media Ministry documents all worship services and special programs through video and audio tape reproductions for archiving and distribution.
